To paint eggs, apply a base coat of Ivory White to the first egg shape using a 3/8-inch paintbrush, working very neatly around edges. Let dry for about 15 minutes. Mix Ivory White with Vintage White in palette cups for shade tone. While paint is slightly moist, apply shading to edge of one side of egg, using quick strokes and mottling brush for depth.

Interior Decorating

When decorating the interiors of your home, the main objective must be to make your home as comfortable and attractive as possible. First of all, you need to decide on a theme for each room in your home. Try visualizing the look after the decoration is complete and if you like the look, then start the interior decoration project at once.

For the last few weeks I have been holding 15 amazing home decorating ideas that have wonderful pictures geared for modern design themes. I have not been real sure how to put them into an article until today. My idea is to share the images so that you can get ideas about furniture, accessories, colors, and decorative touches that may work in your living room, dining room, home office, or bedroom. For me, visuals offer many new ideas as well as affirmation of my own decorating beliefs.

Home Decor Tips

There are several factors I take into consideration, but it all comes down to the needs of the client. For this house, my clients have very hectic lives and wanted a calming space to relax and unwind. In the large living room, they often entertain both on an intimate and large scale. Dividing the room into distinct spaces that can function independently or as one was key. http://www.womansday.com/var/ezflow_site/storage/images/wd2/content/shelter/decorating/home-decor-tips-from-mark-langos/562702-1-eng-US/Home-Decor-Tips-from-Mark-Langos_full_article_vertical.jpg

Home Decor

Home interior decorating can be quite a daunting prospect. There are a great many details to be taken into consideration, and innumerable possible interior decorating ideas that you can come up with. Just knowing where to start is a major issue. You can, of course, just call in a professional Interior Decorator and save yourself all the bother, but then you will miss out on the fun part of doing up your home yourself, of imprinting your home with your own personality. Because, of course, your home interior design should reflect your personality; without that personal touch even the most perfect arrangement in the world would fall short.

New Home Decoraion

The decor of a person’s home is something that is useful in determining what kind of human being they are, which is why we shamelessly notice the decorating style of most people when we visit their home. Overall character that we possess, and our likes and dislikes can be shown through a careful examination of the decoration that we use in the rooms of our home. A more practical person would put sufficient effort into their kitchen storage space.

Whether your idea of French style is formal or country, part of the fun is knowing where to shop and how to get the most style for your dollar. If you’re interested in antiques, then your best buy will be at auction; if style is more important than provenance, you’ll have a world of choices. My only suggestion: instead of being slavish, adapt French style to your style.

Free pastries today 12/27 only!

Get up to $20 in store credit for an old bookshelf!

We need bookshelves.

You need your daily caffeine fix.

This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship...
or at the very least, a you-scratch-my-back-I'll-scratch-yours scenario.

At the moment we're a 'coffee shop that also has used books'. We want to be a 'used bookstore that also has a coffee shop', and have all the books to be just that, but we're desperately short on shelves. We can't afford to go out and buy a whole lot of new shelves to fill our space, and besides, we like the mismatched shelf look we've got goin' on, so prefer our shelves used.

See what I mean. Cosy, right!

So, we have a proposition for anyone out there with a bookshelf at home that's in the way, collecting dust, and not really of much use.

Bring in a bookshelf in exchange for
$20 in store credit at Read, Write & Brew!

Yes, we have heard of the saying, 'Beggers can't be choosers',
but we do have some criteria attached to what we'll accept.

In order to get the full $20 store credit, shelves must be:

- wood (any kind), or if they're not wooden, a faux 'wood look' is fine. Painted, metal our colorful plastic shelves just don't gel with the 'vibe' we're trying to create.
- around 6 foot tall (give or take a little)
- sturdy enough for us not to have to worry about it toppling on any of our customers as they browse
- in at least 'fair' condition. We have no problem accepting shelves with scratches and dings in them, but please don't bring us anything that looks like it's had a severe beating.
- we'll also accept shelves less than 6' tall, and do have uses for shelves around waist height. We'll offer you $10 store credit for these kinds of shelves.

If you're wondering about a shelf in your home, but don't know if it's what we're after, come in and talk to us or take some photo's of it, describe it a little, and send us an email - and we can let you know whether it's worth your while bringing it in. Our email address is read.write.brew@gmail.com.

You can spend your store credit all at once, or spread it out over multiple visits. If you have any questions, please contact us.

The home is a combination of living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and a sleek small garden. The living room decor can be made affordable by buying accessories which are made out of steel, plastic and coated wires. The complete make-over kit for your living room is furniture and delicate accessories which gives the complete design for your living room. When you are buying furniture buy according to your living rooms size to get enough free space. It should be affordable to you and at the same time exhibit quality. Avoid built-in furniture as it restricts mobility and creativity. Decorate with pots, paintings and change the upholstery like curtains and sofa fabrics once in a while

We chatted with interior designer Mark Langos, of MarkLangos.com, about the beautiful home he designed that we featured in our May issue. Here, he continues his thoughts about interior design and what makes for a great living space.

Smarter home décor,

The kind of decor people use in their home tells a lot about what kind of person we are, whether we want to admit it or not. Both the strong likes or dislikes of our personalities can be easily determined by paying attention to the way our homes are decorated. The more sensible side of us can be seen through the efficient way we store items in our kitchens. A person who frequently has hard days at work will likely choose to pick their lounge colors in more neutral shades.

In terms of a bedroom, if you decorate the place in wild reds and luxurious satin, this is a good indication of another type of personality entirely, though perhaps not one that that everyone will see. In designing a decor for the home, it is important to separate areas that everyone will see from the private ones. Even when you are entertaining guests at a party, you will not want to allow them access to all parts of the home, and will want to keep parts of it separate and private

Interior Decoration of Home Decor

Interior Decoration of Home Decor is the art of decorating a room in order to make it great to look at and easy to use with the existing frame of the room. The goal of the successful interior design is to give the home owner a look for the room that reflects their personality. Interior decoration uses things like paintings, paint, wall paper, light fixtures, floor plans, curtains and carpets. They base the whole design on the room itself.

Most interior decorated rooms are based on themes. Some people like Louis XV, some like the Victorian era and then there are those that like the art deco designs. Each style depends on what the home owner likes. When you hire an interior decorator, some of them charge per room. So if you are looking for multiple room, some may give you a break on the price so before you decide on one person shop around. Every interior decorator has different idea and you may find you like one designer better than the other

home décor,

When you’re choosing an interior designer whose style is French style home décor, your first decision is how authentic your want the décor to be. Some want every detail picture-perfect; while others want a hint of French in the fabrics, furniture or accessories.

Whether your idea of French style is formal or country, part of the fun is knowing where to shop and how to get the most style for your dollar. If you’re interested in antiques, then your best buy will be at auction; if style is more important than provenance, you’ll have a world of choices.
